Why CRU
Built CRU because he needed it himself. With a wedding in November 2026, Rob set out to become the husband who was also a founder, who could dance at his reception, who was physically fit, could hold a conversation with anyone, shoot skeet, and looked good doing all of it. He knew he'd need structure to become that man — so he built the tool. And because Rob has always loved watching other men win, he thought: why not build it for all of us.

Dec 2025
MVP v1 launches to prove the problem space
Built and shipped an AI-powered onboarding experience + micro-action system to early testers. Hypothesis: men will engage with an identity-first approach to behavior change more than generic habit tracking.
Result: Hypothesis validated.
Detailed survey responses and in-depth interviews. Users felt "seen" by the experience and began executing actions immediately.
Jan 2026
CRU Labs, Inc. incorporated as a C-Corp
Legally formed the company. Began building V2 architecture — six AI protocols, adaptive onboarding, Kinetic Core visual identity system, and the full arc progression engine.
Mar 2026
MVP v2 in development — beta imminent
Full React Native app with Supabase backend, 14+ database migrations applied, 36 development tasks completed across scaffold, vault, and onboarding. Preparing for 30-day closed beta with 50 participants.
